I purchased my S3 in Korea, where it comes standard with an extra battery as well as a charger for said battery. I always wondered if that was something they did here (they did the same for the S2 as well)

I find it funny that anyone took the time to rip on this bit of technology. Perhaps some of us don't need a phone that costs more than their entire wardrobe? I, for one, do not. I got this phone for 0$ with a super contract. It runs better than the iPhone, it's more durable by a vast distance, it's significantly smaller than the Samsung Galaxy SIII (meaning it can fit in the absurdly small pockets of most girl's jeans) and it is more reliable. I have had people complaining to me about their iPhone's crashing and cracking only a week after buying it. My Blackberry has crashed twice since I got it in August, I have dropped it on the concrete floor of the workshop, and it looks brand new. The keyboard is easy to navigate, the battery life is better than most smartphones out there, and it is perfect for those with a small budget, or who don't need a phone that can do the same as most computers. Go figure, eh?

Overall, it's a good phone. Yes, there are better phones out there, OBVIOUSLY! I recommend this phone to anyone with a brain. "But ... It's not an iPhone D: !"

Anyone who would pick an iPhone over this is picking style over quality.

Apple may be taking a large step backwards, and drawing back from the original iPhone's intentions. This device looks kind of fake. The attention to detail is not as important as the phone itself.

Thanks for this. My husband has just bought an iPhone 5 and gone with Vodophone just for this device. I have an Iphone 4s with no signal most of the time and am locked into a 2 year contract with O2 taken out before we moved to the sticks. He installed the Vodophone signal booster and he has full mobile connection. However it has killed my landline BT dect phone with so much static it has become unusable. Sigh.... I am not a techie and still have one year to go on my O2 contract so cannot go onto Vodophone so I can use my mobile whilst my landline is stuffed but this wonderful gadget....... grrrrr

There are arguments as to whether it is Samsung that has done this or that it is because of the latest version of the Android operating syste,
